The Valley Room is a NW Tasting Room Collective showcasing 11 exceptional Willamette Valley wine brands under one roof. Housed in the former Hyland Estates Tasting Room, the space has evolved to offer a broader selection of wines while remaining deeply rooted in the legacy of Hyland. As our flagship brand and one of Oregon’s most historic vineyard sites, Hyland continues to play a central role in the experience. Come discover crisp whites and elegant Pinot Noirs to bold reds and unique varietals. Our diverse portfolio offers something for every palate to discover and love.

Conveniently located just off 99W as you enter Dundee, OR, our charming 1970s farmhouse offers an intimate and cozy tasting experience. Guided by our knowledgeable and friendly staff, you can enjoy a quick tasting at the bar or settle in for a more relaxed, in-depth table-side experience. We also offer light bites to pair with our curated flights, which include single-clone Pinot Noirs, sparkling wines, Rosé, and aromatic, dry white wines. Whether you’re stopping by for a brief visit or a leisurely afternoon, our tasting room provides the perfect setting to explore the exceptional wines of Hyland Estates.

A seated tasting at Hyland offers an educational and immersive experience that combines the best of both worlds: the hands-on engagement of a bar tasting with the added comfort of a relaxed table setting. Ideal for small groups, whether you’re new visitors or longtime friends, this experience mirrors the personalized service of a fine restaurant. Winery Tour & Barrel Tasting

We are excited to unveil our newly opened barrel room, where you can indulge in an exclusive tasting of our signature Pinot Noir straight from the barrel. This is more than just a tasting—it’s a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the winemaking process and discover the artistry that goes into every bottle of our cherished Hyland wines. Step behind the scenes, explore the heart of our winery, and savor the essence of our craft in an intimate setting. To ensure a personalized experience, we ask that reservations be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Vineyard Hike & Tasting
A visit to Hyland Vineyard transcends a simple journey to a picturesque location; it’s an immersion into one of the oldest and most revered wine sites in the Willamette Valley. Here, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of our profound connection with the land while tasting wines sourced directly from the ground you walk on!
As you stroll through the vineyard rows, you’ll witness how we nurture the vines, providing them with the essentials for thriving before stepping back to let nature take its course. Our goal is to offer you a vineyard experience unlike any other—one that resonates deeply and lingers long after your visit. The vineyard is off-site, so bookings must be made at least 1 week in advance.

CHILDREN & PETS
We are family friendly! We ask that kids remain at the table with you during your visit and do not disrupt or interfere with the experience of other patrons. Dogs (with the exception of service animals) are welcome on our patio, which is weather dependent. Please keep dogs leashed and clean up after them if necessary.
FOOD & FLIGHTS
To ensure the best experience for all guests and to complement our curated wine and seasonal offerings, we do not allow outside food. We invite you to enjoy our selection of snacks and small bites designed to pair perfectly with your visit.
Guests can enjoy a variety of tasting flights at The Valley Room, from curated selections featuring only Hyland wines to diverse flights showcasing wines from across our family of 10 additional brands. Flights start at $30 and the tasting fee may be waived with a qualifying wine purchase or new wine club membership.
SEATING & SERVICE
Our Tasting Room is designed with accessibility in mind, including ADA access. Guests can enjoy a mix of hightop tables and cozy soft seating options, offering flexibility and comfort. Outdoor seating on our patio is available when the weather allows, providing a great space to relax and savor our wines. All seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis unless reserved in advance. Wherever you choose to settle in, enjoy flights, wine by the glass, or bottle service all featuring our signature old vine, single-clone Pinot Noirs and dry, aromatic white wines.
LARGE GROUPS & PRIVATE EVENTS
Our intimate tasting room can accommodate groups of up to 6 guests, including children and designated drivers, so please book for the total number in your party. Separate reservations cannot be combined to form larger groups. For parties larger than 6, please give us a call at 503-554-4200—we’d love to discuss options for hosting your group.
